It is better to understand than be understood.
Love extravagantly and joyfully, with no expectations of permenance governing the giving away of your heart, and from a position of strength and never need.
Never be apologetic or combative in your actions

Local towns blew away, but I may have already written about that so I’ll move on to something I think is entertaining:
“Behind every successful man is a surprised woman and an even more surprised mother-in-law”

I’m worrying more about my car. The brakes are making more noise and there’s a fluttering sound coming from under the hood almost all the time. If anything breaks I don’t have the money to fix it. I really should have gotten the other cheap ass crap car. Damn it all.
Bought a frog tho and he doesn’t do much. He seems to have a good time when there’s no one in the room. But as soon as he thinks there’s some one in the room with him, he turns around and stares at the wall. Al’s weird.

The trip home over the weekend was awesome. Weirdest, proves I have a bizarre lame family moment: we got 6 helium balloons and spent about half an hour when we got home from the reception each taking hits off the balloons and giggling about our chipmunk voices. Yeah, we are freaking strange.
As for this week so far, it’s been lame and dull. This weekend we have a reservation at a very nice restaurant in Waterloo and then heading to Waverly to go out with Nicci and Natalie before their graduation Sunday afternoon, which I will definitely attend even if I can’t make it to Wavetown Saturday night after my date with Josh. Holy runon sentence Batman.

Stan is graduated from high school now. Congrats Stan! The reception was good, except for the fact that I spent most of it being afraid that grandma or grandpa would be available and I’d have to talk to them. This isn’t really that much of a big deal, in fact I’d usually seek out the opportunity. But, I broke their golf cart and had to tell them about it in person and apologize to them there. I was so nervous, and I don’t know why, because they’re so kind and would not get mad at me. And they didn’t. Grandma just asked me how golfing was, and I told her I never hit the ball, just drove, kept score, and lifted the flags. Told her I broke it and she said grandpa had already been out there to check it out and he said he could fix it and it wasn’t a big deal.
Anyway, we came home with a ton of food, and I ate a ton of food all weekend. Feeling quite full and fat lately. Want to go running, but too nervous and shy to do it. Would love to run a marathon some day, but I can’t because I’m so uptight and self-conscious that I can’t get out of the house and go running. Lame.

Bananas aren’t made in factories, silly Dr Cuddy! Yes, I’m watching House. Loves me that show. I’ve finally gotten around to sitting around and doing nothing as per my standard Friday night plans, so I’m watching TV. Shocking! To change things up though, I’m watching it on the Internet. In the bedroom instead of in the living room on the uncomfortable love seat he loves so much.
What got me to this point today? Up by 6 so my boss could pick me up at 6:30 AM and work with kids (6 back-to-back sessions, minus 30 min for lunch, of 50 elem kids k-6, split into groups so I got to do the exact same thing sometimes 6 times in a row) until 4:30. YAY for 10 hours of work today: $100!
Boss dropped me off at home after we got her car unloaded, where I ran into my neighbor sunning herself and reading a book in the front lawn. Talked to her for a while; turns out her boyfriend got a motorcycle and my boy is gonna be so jealous when he finds out! Then I sat around some, did a few situps to deal with the pudge, watched a little Friends, took a shower, sat around some more, looked up some words, people, and phrases from the book I’m reading, then hit the least fun part of my day. I went to the bedroom to take care of things for this weekend: LAUNDRY. Damn near everything we own is dirty and we’re going home to our parents’ places this weekend for my sister’s high school graduation. I gathered all our clothes together and split them up in half. I’ll wash mine and he’ll take care of his. Split the bedding in half.
Nasty/Weird/Hilarious part: When I was behind the bed trying to get the Internet cord to run through the wall into the bedroom from the living room so I could be watching the Internet-TV I’m watching right now, I happened to get a whiff of our bed. CROTCH. Damn, it’s like sticking my head between his thighs. We should clean this place way more often.
Anyway, headed home and may have to see his family this weekend. Will destroy them all if I have to deal with them. barf.

I don’t really have much to say about today. I went to work for 7 hours and then I came home. Now I’m waiting to see if I get to go for a walk to Coldstone for cheap ice cream day with my love.
I gues I could take the time to try to write about something interesting to make this more worthwhile, but I’m lazy as hell and it’s summer dammit.
Also, I bought a copy of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence for $5.30. I’ve read a little of it and I’m loving it.
